Duties and responsibilities

• The Loco driver is responsible to provide sage haulage of materials, ore and waste to support underground operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 / Standard 8 / Abet Level 4 or equivalent
• Loco Driver License
• 3 Years’ experience as Loco Driver

Advantageous

• Grade 12 / Matric / or Equivalent
• Certificate in National mining operations for Hard rock (Level2)

Skills and Knowledge

• Basic Loco maintenance skills and training

Physical/Legal Requirements

• Obtain Medical Fitness Certificate
• RFAC (Rehabilitation Fitness Assessment certificate) and HTS (Heat Tolerance Screening)
• Clear Credit / Criminal Record
